These people are dumb and bad. These fancy beetles can do some quality racing. I wanted this to be accompanied by a picture of a badass old laguna BTCC car but kinja said no.

Fixed it for you!
The Laguna was definitely my favourite car in TOCA 2.

ehh I sort of a gree with them. the Carrera stuff isn’t as exciting trackside as other stuff. Especially if the local series is dominated by gentleman drivers with little skill.

I had TOCA 2 on the PC, back when Windows ME was considered modern, and RAM was measured in MBs instead of GBs.

Windows ME was dreadful. Ironically our PC that replaced it had Vista, which was even more dreadful.
Didn’t TOCA 2 have Fiestas?

We replaced ME with a PC with XP, so that was a great improvement.
From the top of my mind TOCA 2 had Fiestas, BTCC and Formula Ford.

XP really was great and still kinda is; most the PC at my school and at my internship still run XP.

At my university we’ve fully moved to 7, although last years students got 8.1, and this years students got 10, so I expect/hope that my generation will get a notification that we can update too. Sadly we didn’t get the free 10 update since we’re on 7 Enterprise.
But yeah, XP still is great, we’ve still got one PC and a laptop running it at home, though both of them aren’t really used anymore. My plans are to convert the PC to a NAS, since it was quite the top of the line PC when it was new in 2005, so it should probably be good enough as a NAS.
